Dejan Loyola was born on August 16, and grew up on Salt Spring Island where he developed a love for stage and screen work.[1] As an attendee of the Gulf Islands Secondary School, he performed in an improv group[2] and also sought out further experience Gulf Island School of Performing Arts.[1]
After graduation, Dejan signed up at the Premiere Talent agency and since then, he has been booking roles in television series, films, made-for-television movies, short films and commercials.[1] His television debut was on the pilot episode of the science-fiction themed V[3] with following work in the fantasy film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, guest roles on Tower Prep, Fringe, Emily Owens M.D. and the The Tomorrow People, as well
