    The Renunciation of Miss Võ Bích Liên

     

    On 15 February 2015 at Như Lai Thiền Tự Temple in San Diego, Southern California, USA, under the approvement of Most Venerable Thích Giác Nhiên – the leader of the Buddhist tiggare Sangha in the world and other venerable monks, Venerable Thích Minh Hồi organized the ceremony of haircuts and prayers for a kvinnlig Buddhist, Tâm Hoa, whose world name is Võ Elizabeth Bích Liên, and Dharma title is Liên Ngọc. The sangha also appointed her to return Vietnam to attend the official renunciation in Ngọc Vân tiggare Temple.

    Bhiksuni Dr. Bich Lien is diligent and brilliant! She was born in Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam and came to the USA as a child. She established herself with dignity and beauty. She began to share her cultural pride in 1986 in Kansas and won the Traditional Vietnamese Dress Award. By 2012 she won the USA Miss Asia International Competition honoring the beauty, talent, wisdom and traditional cultural values of thousands of competitors from 58 countries.

    During this period, she created international cosmetics companies EV Princess, BL Miracle, and Herbs EV, with distribution to 15 nations, as well as, beauty salons. Her diligence as a Woman Entrepreneur earned her the respect of American Presidents: George W. Bush and Barack Obama who both invited her to events at the White House.

    Tiểu sử

    Huỳnh Bích Liên sinh ra và lớn lên tại Vancouver, Canada. Gia đình cô có bốn chị em và cô là người con thứ hai.[2] Tổ tiên cô là Hoa kiều Việt Nam di cư sang Canada.

    Huỳnh Bích Liên từng học tại trường Trung học Fraser Heights. Cô tốt nghiệp khoa tâm lý học (Tâm lý học phát triển)[3] tại Đại học British Columbia.

    Cô bắt đầu làm người mẫu khi còn học trung học, tích lũy kinh nghiệm làm người mẫu cô dâu, thời trang và trang điểm trước khi tham gia một cuộc thi người mẫu tại địa phương vào năm 2010.
