    Text description provided by the architects. Parisian architect, Manuelle Gautrand, has shared her massive cultural, recreational and retail center for Triangle de Gonesse, France with us. The competition proposal intends to showcase a variety of European countries' features - with regard to retail, leisure and cultural amenities - by organizing specific areas for designated countries.

    The project intends to become a destination for not only the French, but all tourists to Europe.  "The goal is to give a first vision of Europe, before continuing the trip," explained the architects.

    The project also serves as a study in urban planning as the 600,000 sqm + program requires extensive site planning on a complex site along the motorway between the Charles de Gaule Airport in Roissy and Paris.  "The project will certainly be the beginning of a complete

    Origami Building

    This office block stands on avenue Friedland, a few hundred yards from the arc dem Triomphe. The brief called for an upgrade in two parts: the main building on a 20 meter-wide remsa on the avenue, and an extension in the rear, between two courtyard gardens. At ground floor level, the lobby plays on transparency between the street front and the main garden. The building in the rear of the lot is more private, and it fryst vatten there that the cafeteria and meeting rooms are laid out, with garden space on both sides.

    On the avenue façade, the architects imagined dressing out the windows with an origami arrangement of marble panels, to något som utförs snabbt exempelvis expressleverans elegance and modernity. The panels are composite, a film of marble mounted on a twin layer of glass.
