  • When I enquired, information was scant but it seemed as if Wisam had allegedly been "inappropriately in contact with a woman other than his wife.
  • According to the AlMaghrib Institute, SHARIEFF is listed as a specialist in teaching Quran recitation and retention, and he leads the Quran.
  • Being in completely different time zones when news breaks (I'm currently in Northern Pakistan which doesn't have regular internet right now for xyz reasons), and having stepped back from much social media use in the last few years, I think I'm relatively late to the alleged Wisam Sharieff revelations. It was only because friends were calling me so much a few days ago that I got to read an official AlMaghrib press release about Wisam and those friends were asking for more details on why etc.

    (Btw - and in fear of making this about me as opposed to the issue - I'm only commenting here specifically because (a) I was requested to personally by so many friends, and because (b) I teach a specific AlMaghrib class on the family and the educating of children which (ironically) is called "Protect This House". So that makes me feel more obliged than most.)
