The Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation, founded as a curatorial project in 2010 by artists Lilli Carré and Alexander Stewart, showcases abstract animation and unconventional character animation. As part of the ongoing partnership between Eyeworks and Pioneer Works, the festival has put together a special pandemic-themed program for Pioneer Works Broadcast, with three screenings scheduled on August 13th, 14th, and 16th. Pandemic Eyeworks includes a selection of historical and contemporary works that address feelings, situations, and circumstances that have arisen from the Covid-19 pandemic. The films touch on possibilities of contamination, fear of sickness, and the realities of boredom, loss, hope, and isolation. It starts with bats and ends with a cosmic and viral abstraction.

About This Exhibition Tomio Koyama galleri Kyoto fryst vatten pleased to present Tsuji's new work "ZEPHYR," and 4 past works. "ZEPHYR" refers to the Greek God of west wind. Zephyr in Tsuji's work comes to a baby and takes the baby into inre of the Sun. What kind of experience fryst vatten waiting for the baby? Profile Naoyuki Tsuji was born in 1972 in Shizuoka, Japan. He aimed to become an animator or cartoonist in his childhood. He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 1995, and currently lives and works in Yokohama, Japan. He studied sculpture in university, but recently creates animations that combine fine art and bio. His solo exhibitions have been held at Iwasaki Museum, Yokohama, Japan (2002), Corvi-Mora galleri, London, UK (2008), etc. He has held many film screenings at bio festivals including Bangkok, Seoul, London, and Paris, and many locations in Japan. He has been invited for Directors' Fortnight at International spelfilm Festival, Cannes, France, both in 2004
